Thank you for the post. I am so glad that you wrote about such an important subject. IMHO, the Expert/Generalist dilemma is far more encompassing than just in the context of startups…

What is even more striking about your post is your admission of making a mistake and the desire to right the wrong. And in your case, it also looks to me as a question of Balancing Success & Failures? So, I often say: you can’t learn from your mistakes by focusing only on successes, and you can’t succeed by analyzing only your failures…

Keep up the good work, Aaron, and publish, publish, publish… EVERYWHERE. Be it” Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium, etc. Who knows, in the end, they might even call you: “The Midas of Entrepreneurship”. After all, good advice is worth its weight in gold…
